Honda GB500

In the late '80's, Honda experimented with a number of very unusual motorcycles. The GB500 was one of them. It took its style from the old cafe racers – which is why i like it so much. One of the best things to come out of the 80's in my humble opinion (aand of course hyper colored tshirts).

The GB500 was a moderate success in Japan, but in the US sales were hindered by the American love for large engines and dislike of the fairly high price tag. Which is why it's relatively rare bike and has a bit of a cult status.

Heres a couple of pics of this 80's classic. The first pic is from an old honda advertisement... Love the birds forming the honda logo.
