In just over a week, the much anticipated new series about Café Racers launches. It kick starts on October 13th on Discovery HD Theater and will consist of thirteen episodes from past to present. Here’s a blurb from the makers of the series:

‘Expect to see rare historical film footage and more rockabilly music than a Gene Vincent reunion tour, all in stunning high-def format broadcast on your favorite channel, Discovery HD Theater. In addition you’ll be able to watch, as a handful of builders produce some of the most amazing motorcycles all paying homage to the grand daddy of modern sport and race bikes.’

Sounds like there’s a ton of reasons to tune in. For more info check out the Café Racer TV website. [Spotted on Return of the Cafe Racer]

  • kik

  • Scott

@Twinlinemoto You could try contacting Mike Seate through his cafe racer mag. The mag email is rockersrule@caferacermag.com

Ryobi tools are shit. Not the shit, shit. And I guess now that the "chopper craze" is over Mike Seate jumped ship and is riding the cafe train.

you and your site suck for censoring comments

  • Scott

@its me – We dont usually censor unless it is spam or something offensive. What did you say?

  • cb_fan

@ john, quite right. Seate just jumps one every bandwagon going. He'll probably milk Cafe Racers dry, then move onto unicycles, or whatevers next. No integrity.

I REMEMBER WHEN MIKE SEATE WAS IN IRON HORSE MAGAZINE, THE PISS PEAS FIXED UP HIS HARLEY REAL SWEET AT ROSAS .AND HE REPAID THEM BY GOING TO ANOTHER MAGAZINE, HE RODE THE JESSE JAMES BOAT AND A FEW OTHERS AFTER, I MEAN HE EVEN HAS A SWASTIKA ON HIS FOREARM.THIS GUY HAS NO LOYALTY, I THINK…MY 2 CENTS.

Hi all , It was good to see that somebody decided to do a programe about the Rockers & the Cafe Racers but I'm not sure about some of the facts .It was noted that some of your builders had no respect for the bikes they were building we would never have hacked a good bike to bits to get the engine out we did not destroy bikes as money was tight & what you did not use somebody else would .There were two builders who got it right the guy building the A7 & the guy building the Honda CBX v twin they built theres as we would have done cutting bits of frame of was ok you didnt destroy the bike .As regards Rockers people seem to think that London & the Ace Cafe was were the cult originated , not so this happened all over England north to south & east to west some places still reliving the past such as the Jacks Hill cafe Towcester ,Squires cafe Sherburn in Elmet the White Hart Lenton Nottingham & the Ship at Skeness the website for last two is http://www.rockersreunion.com , reunions happen every year & we were brought up on Rock & Roll as were the Teddy Boys . Anyway thats my thoughts & as i lived it
