Deus Moulin Rouge

Here's a couple of sweet little videos from Deus starring their Moulin Rouge – don't worry, there's no sign of Nicole Kidman singing in either video. The first one (above) features beautiful shots of the W650 springer bobber, all set to the gravelly voice of Tom Waits. The second video shows the bike in action, being ridden around the back streets of Sydney.

Nice looking bike - dare I ask how much?
I presume a hardtail from the original frame?
Reminds me of some of the bikes knocking about here in England in the 70s, old Triumphs, BSAs and the odd XS650 were turned into what are now called 'bobbers'.
I remember being as jealous as hell when I asked one guy how much his 'new' Triumph hardtailed, girder forked bike cost -
He said 'nothing', a pile of parts in the garage, the engine from his mate, wiring from another mate, chroming done at work etc...
and I had just spent £1800 on a really new T140V Bonneville straight from the factory (and his engine leaked less oil than mine too)
Now a Triumph bobber costs £10,000+ (if its built for you by one of the shops here)

@sportsterMike Not exactly sure the sale price but I'm guessing around $25k Australian.

Wow, Deus have finally made a really, really hot bike. Now their garage might come close to matching their merchandise...

I like it.

Wished we could hear more of the engine, rather than the lame music. Nice bike.

They are "girder" forks, not 'springer" forks. I'm surprised all you MC types missed that.

Nice girder, great sounding motor (I agree with Jim, above). Not sure about the long stretch though.
