Merry Christmas

I swore I wasn’t going to feature a cheesy image this Christmas. You know the ones, like fat Santa riding a tiny bike, or a motorcycle ‘pimped out’ with a million Christmas lights. No, this year I was going to be strong and avoid the cliché all together – until I came across this image (above) by British photographer Robert Schoehuys. Every year Robert shoots a pin-up calender for the the French AC Pin-Up Speedshop that features some very nice café racers and classic bikes – not to mention some beautiful women. If you’re keen to see more or buy one, you can visit the Pin-Up Speedshop store for their 2011 edition.

But more importantly, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and if you’re lucky enough to be able to ride this time of year, ride safe. If you are going to be spending a lot of time in your garage over the next few months (due to snow), make sure you send us some pics of your finished projects when you come out of hibernation.

    Hi Scott,
Hope you have a a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We are snowed in and working on 3 motorcycles. They should be ready for the London Custom Motorcycle Show at Alexandra Palace 27/28 Feb.
Thanks for featuring my BMW this year.

@adam Enjoy your white Xmas. It's been hot down here today and we've spent the day in the pool!

Can't wait to see your new bikes. Keep us posted.

All the best for the festive season Scott, and thanks for featuring my Bonneville on your site.

  • Someone told me there was a motorcycle in the picture but all I see is a girl.

@RecycleBill – Oh you are right. We missed that, thanks for pointing it out 😉

  • You're welcome!

If it wasn't for PIPEBURN and free pornography, I wouldn't even own a computer. Great site, have a great new year!!

Hi! I came across this great picture. I stole it for my ‘personal’ xmas card I’m sending through Facebook. I know, lazy bugger, but that what I am. I’ll credit you obviously… 😉
Have a good one in 2012 and many safe miles!

Oops! I’m sorry, but I just noticed that you too stole it from another photographer. I didn’t even bother to read your story…too distracted by the beautiful girl I guess…Never mind!
