Kentucky Kick Down Vintage Motorcycle Show

Scott Halblieb is a good mate of Pipeburn. He’s also a rather excellent bike builder, who has blessed us numerous times with his superb creations. So when he approached us about putting our good name to a little bike show he and a mate were organising down Louisville way, we naturally said yes. Then we toasted the show with some fine Kentucky bourbon. Then we toasted it again. And again. Then things got blurry.

Best to let Scott take it from here. “You know those really great, eclectic local festivals and events that Louisville, Kentucky is known for? Well now there’s the Kentucky Kick Down vintage motorcycle show. So if you’re looking for a reason to shun your responsibilities, hop on your motorcycle and take a ride to the Bluegrass state. Enjoy some amazing Fall weather and sip on some Kentucky bourbons, while meeting some great local and regional bikers, builders and general enthusiasts.”

You can find out more at or And remember, sip a little small batch for us. But just a little.

Some really awesome things happening with the vintage motorcycle scene here in Louisville. I’m glad to be along for the ride. This event is going to be big. Come meet revdub in the flesh!! I’m kidding, of course. I know that everyone will be there for the bikes (and bourbon).

I’d have to for anyone to see me. Revdub is vertically challenged. You’ll find this out too, if you show up!

Why am I talking in third person now? Secrets will be revealed.

  • Much love to Andrew/Pipeburn for being a big supporter and promoter. And a warm welcome to anyone who wants to come kick it in KY for a day or two. Do a little riding on the bourbon trail, or just hang at the show and celebrate old motorcycles!
