God Save The Triton!

Heres a couple of Tritons that I have found around this worldwide interweb super highway. Would love to take these babies on a real highway. For those that don't know, the name TRITON comes from combining Triumph and Norton. Usually taking the best parts of each. Normally the Triumph engine and the Norton frame. But theres lots of different combos these days...

Warm and Fuzzy feeling

Saw this beautiful CB350 cafe racer and got that warm and fuzzy feeling again in parts of my body I can't discuss here. I think the couple in the old CB350 ad below know that feeling as well...

Hard times? Hard wood.

Anyone else sick of hearing the words 'tough times', 'financial crisis' and 'credit crunch'? Well we are. Lets stop friggin talking about it all day every day and build a big bridge and ride the hell over it. Heres the perfect ghetto bike for these hard times... made from hard wood. Just be careful smoking near it....

One Little Indian

Another piece of motorcycle history I admired at the Deus shop was this old Indian Scout. I know it's not a cafe racer but it would have been one hell of a ride back in its day.
In the 1920's the Scout gained reputation for strength and reliability, which led to the old Indian saying: "You can't wear out an Indian Scout, or its brother the Indian Chief. They are built like rocks to take hard knocks; it's the Harleys that cause grief." Them are fightin words!

Achtung Baby!

Found this German site all about Ducati's called Rudi's TT site.  Rudi has some beautiful bikes on there. Looks like he has been obsessed with Ducati motorbikes since he was a young boy. Heres just a selection of some that caught my eye...

Deus Triton

Stick a late 60's Triumph engine 650cc in a Norton wide line Manx frame and you have a cafe racer to die for. Triumph brakes, Norton tank, Dunstall pipes, alloy rims and straight bars. With pin striping on the silver tank all you need is the scarf and goggles..

Trip to Deus

I love going to Deus. I don't enjoy going there with my ankle biters but hey i had no choice today.

They have so many great bikes in every corner. Discovered this little beauty in one of the corners today (next to the fire extinguisher and water cooler). A Yamaha R5 350cc from the seventies. Makes me want to put on my leathers and take on Mr Stoner.
I love the description (sales pitch) on the the 'price tag'. If you can't read it heres what it says...
"350cc 2 stroke bike with disc brake upgrade. Will need very little to get up and running again. Go racing, its fun, it'll make you a better rider, meet new friends, meet beautiful women, get rich, get bigger muscles, rub shoulders with super stars,..." I'll take two (not that i need bigger muscles)!

LUXE Motorcycle

Yes, it is another Japanese custom shop. But these guys are doing things a little different. They look like they are really experimenting with tanks, pipes and paint jobs. Pretty distinctive. They are called Luxe Motorcycle Factory and they also have lots of other bikes on their website thats definitely worth checking out. Mostly SR400/500's and w650's.
