Deus Triton

Stick a late 60's Triumph engine 650cc in a Norton wide line Manx frame and you have a cafe racer to die for. Triumph brakes, Norton tank, Dunstall pipes, alloy rims and straight bars. With pin striping on the silver tank all you need is the scarf and goggles..

Trip to Deus

I love going to Deus. I don't enjoy going there with my ankle biters but hey i had no choice today.

They have so many great bikes in every corner. Discovered this little beauty in one of the corners today (next to the fire extinguisher and water cooler). A Yamaha R5 350cc from the seventies. Makes me want to put on my leathers and take on Mr Stoner.
I love the description (sales pitch) on the the 'price tag'. If you can't read it heres what it says...
"350cc 2 stroke bike with disc brake upgrade. Will need very little to get up and running again. Go racing, its fun, it'll make you a better rider, meet new friends, meet beautiful women, get rich, get bigger muscles, rub shoulders with super stars,..." I'll take two (not that i need bigger muscles)!

LUXE Motorcycle

Yes, it is another Japanese custom shop. But these guys are doing things a little different. They look like they are really experimenting with tanks, pipes and paint jobs. Pretty distinctive. They are called Luxe Motorcycle Factory and they also have lots of other bikes on their website thats definitely worth checking out. Mostly SR400/500's and w650's.

Can't fake the Flakes

These guys are also in Japan and are called Flakes Custom Motorcycles they have some really nice bikes. They also specialize in some crazy paint work on tanks and helmets. I prefer the understated look but I have seen some crazy bikes and clothing in the tokyo streets. Heres one of their more subtle SR400's... except for that smokin exhaust.

Paper, Scissors, Motor Rock!

The Japanese love their SR400's. Every custom shop has so many on their websites. I don't mind because i love this classic. Heres a few from Motor Rock in Japan. They have lots of bobbers on their site as well.

Yesterday... all my troubles seemed so far away

Yesterdays is a place in the Netherlands that specializes in antique motorcycles. They have a range of bikes from 1900's to the 1950's. I prefer the 1950's end like the Nortons and BMW's but its interesting looking at all the beautiful bikes of the past on their website. For all my American readers they even have some old Harleys and Indians. They do ship worldwide if  you see a bike you have to have...
