Sordillo Salt Flat

Walt Siegl built this amazing panhead chopper for the artist, Arthur Sordillo. Walt is a motorcycle builder out of New York City who has been riding and building Harley choppers, bobbers, and race bikes in the old school style for more than 20 years. When we say old school, we mean he makes pretty much every part by hand. This Sordillo Salt Flat was part of the art exhibition "Oldskool -- a survey of 20th Century Motorculture," curated by the painter Gregory Johnston. Walt still road races V-Twins and is constantly surprising people with his amazing eye for custom bike building. To see more of Walt's work check his impressive gallery.

Mean and Green

Hank Young came onto the scene in 2002 by turning up to Daytona Beach Biketoberfest on a bike he built called 'The Flying Pan', a bike which was widely praised in the worldwide motorcycling press. In 2002, he made his "hobby" official and started Young Choppers & Hot Rods. Now Hank specializes in bringing together the vital spirits of motorcycling and hot rodding heritage with technical innovations to create timeless expressions of automotive vision to inspire and thrill us. We love this mean, low and green Harley Davidson. For more pics of this tribute to the past check out this gallery.

Zero Engineering Calender

Just got a message from Vegas photographer Ben Schkade mentioning his latest project, shooting the Zero Engineering 2010 calender. Man, some guys have a tough life. Imagine having to get out of bed to shoot some of the best looking motorcycles and girls on the planet? Judging by his photographs we think these calenders are going to be big sellers. The guys at Church of Choppers have more great shots from the shoot (if you could be bothered checking out more hotties on amazing bikes). Will keep you posted when the calendar is released on the Zero site. Until then, get excited by the Zero gallery. [Update: Calenders now available online]
