Built by myself as Essex Bros Engineering this is my personal 1970 Honda CB350 project bike that has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. As a qualified mechanical engineer I have a strong passion for design and engineering processes that have been reflected throughout this build and consequently it is constantly evolving and changing.
This build consists of numerous custom and hand made parts, such as the 2 into 1 pie cut stainless steel exhaust, SD front fork swap and steerer tube, fibreglass tail/seat pan, tail tidy, rear sets, battery tray, wiring harness, handlebars and more. The engine has been completely disassembled, vapour blasted, polished and reassembled adding to the extremely high standard of finish on the build.
This build has focused on the road worthy requirements in Victoria as this CB350 has been built to be ridden. Every modification on this build complies with the local requirements whilst maintaining the traditional café racer style but with the Essex Bros Engineering twist.
