Everything on the bike was refreshed or rebuilt. The engine was taken downtown to he cases and every bearing and seal replaced. Carbs were completely rebuilt, along with all chassis components.
I did all the work myself from engine build to paint and hand making any special brackets etc. I do not have a machine shop so everything was made using hand tools and a lot of time. The seat was a joint project with myself and my wife, I made the fiberglass base and formed the foam, then my wife sewed a custom cover.
All the electrical system was custom built my me using a Moto gadget unit as the central control.
The brake system was upgraded to twin front discs, not too difficult to do on an SOHC, but had a few intricacies to work out.
Items that were outsourced were the powder coating of the frame, and vapor blasting of the engine cases.
Once complete a local on line custom car magazine ran a feature on Tango which certainly raised its profile
