Bike details:
A previously customized, very neglected, ’79 XS650 that I scored from a friend after bugging him for several years. Already hacked and with a roached top end, the entire thing needed to be freshened up badly. I really dig the Triumph Bonneville Bobber so I decided to turn an XS650 into one.

Build details:
Complete custom rear suspension and subframe, utilizing a TC Bros. hardtail kit converted into a softail style rear end. A custom made swingarm from the hardtail kit, a Ninja 650 rear shock, the stock XS swingarm pivot and custom rear frame make up the back half of the bike.
GSX-R 600 forks, a Cognito Moto hub to lace the original Yamaha wheel to the front end. Cognito Moto upper triple with stock GSX-R lower triple with the casting marks removed. Motodemic headlight brackets mount the LSL 6.5″ headlight to the forks.
Pro Taper bars, Motogadget Motoscope Mini speedometer and mirror, LC Fabrications master cylinder reservoir, Purpose Build Moto switches and Vans/Cult grips round out the controls.
Micro Kellermann turn signals, front headlight bracket mounted, rear are frenched into the seat pan.
