I wanted to build the best bike I could only relying on my self, I don’t like asking for help, anyone can farm a build out!
Front to back , nothing was left untouched, Brembo front brake, calliper and disk
Lowered forks
Bottom yoke cover made
Top yoke cleaned and smoothed
Frame de tabbed
Rear half of frame redesigned to slim the rear end to flow better with the thin rear tyres they run.
Dummy stretched tank, electrics hidden under the stretched part , screw down fuel cap
Hand made carbon fibre rear seat unit with race foam
Rear undertray to clean the underside
Gsxr rear sets on hand made brackets
Rear wheel and disc conversion to 18” using Brembo rear calliper and rose jointed toque arm
Engine overhaul/ refresh but no new components, I don’t really get involved in the motors, I’m more ascetics than power
Single piece pipes
Battery tray under swing arm
Carbon under panel to hide battery
Carbon mudguard
I have probably missed many little bits but that’s the main .
As said I don’t have deep pockets so this was all done for probably under a grand including the bike, I do jobs for parts and usually get bits from eBay, then restor to a high standard
The only bit I couldn’t do were the rear wheel spacers as I don’t have a lathe, but would love one!!
My main job is paint and bodywork so luckily I have the means to do that really well
I like to think I have a good eye for this kinda stuff, haha we will see!!!
