The bike is a Ducati Monster 400 from Japan. It is a learner motorcycle here in NZ and to keep it that way I had to keep the mechanical aspects mostly unchanged. The tank, belly pan, seat, and speedo are all custom basalt fibre parts. Headlight brackets, triple clamp, grips, speedo, are some of the custom CNC parts.
The total build cost was ~2000NZD after selling off the original body panels. Half of this was spent on paint alone. So it genuinely was a budget build.
