As can be seen in the pics the bike is running motard wheels, a custom stainless exhaust (probably my favourite part of the build) and custom bodywork from 2mm Aluminium. The bike has been lowered 40mm using the factory DR650 lowering option. All the electrics are hidden under the seat including an Antigravity Lithium Ion battery. Unless it was a necessary factory connector all plugs have been converted to Deutsch style connectors. Tucked in behind the front number plate is a box that all the controls and speedo etc plug into that routes all the up front electrics to clean up the spider web. The speedo is a Trialtech Endurance II chosen for its compactness. Small LED’s are also mounted on the speedo bracket for the dash lights to keep as minimalist as possible. It uses a TM40 flat slide carb with a Unifilter foam filter. The bodywork is painted in Destroyer Grey while the frame and swingarm etc is satin black powder coat. The custom made seat is trimmed in a suede diamond stitch. Everything except the paint, powder coat and seat cover was built in my garage at nights and weekends. Because I’m limited in time with it being a hobby and having a family I drew a lot of it in CAD and had as much as possible laser cut to keep the accuracy up but the time fabricating down.
