Found this Honda CL350 cafe racer on the unusually named motorcycle blog watermelon18. Kenny, the owner of this motorcycle and blog is no professional bike builder, “just a guy who’s always liked the old style racers and decided to try and make his own”. We think he has done a sensational job.

He first picked up an old CL350 from a friend which was in a really sorry shape. What initially started as a “set of clubmans and some cleanup” turned into what most projects do when people have big dreams… a complete restoration. He used some parts from the original bike, some home made ones and some new ones. Like the exhaust which is from the talented guys at Benjie’s, it usually comes with a black exhaust shroud but Kenny asked them to paint it white to match the tank.

The downside to the project is now Kenny’s girlfriend likes the bike so much she wants the same treatment done to her 73′ CB750 (just make sure you send us some pics when the project is complete). Hit the link to check out some build pics and more shots of this classy little classic.
